2007 Season - Week 13
Hall of Fame Owners Wing
And so we come to the event that last year caused more mail than Christmas. I’m talking email and I’m talking about the lobbying for the Hall of Fame – Owners Wing. Last year Cheryl was voted in as the inaugural member, now someone will join her. The rules are simple - each year one owner (past or present) will be honoured by the current owners. All you have to do is email me the name of the owner you wish to place in the Hall of Fame, Owners Wing. Email me your vote by December 16th. Please note there is no room for narcissism in the BUMS - YOU MAY NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF. Nominations are listed alphabetically on the attached sheet with the 16 current owners joined by the 4 former owners Andrew Gulliford, Paul Privitera Phil Long & Steve Talbot. Let the campaigning begin, why do YOU deserve to be in?
H in Hall of Fame, Again and Again and Again and Again
This week (Week 13) Andy H made it into the scoring Hall of Fame for the fourth time this season which is a new BUMS record. Mark had 3 visits in 1999 and Wayne 3 visits last year. Just three quarters of the way through the season this week H passed the Papas Fritas winning totals of Gully who won with 477 in 1997, Mark (481 in 1999), Marcus (481-2001), Daz (508-2005) and Cheryl (509 in 1996). Next up are David S (517-1998) and John (535 last year). H continues to score at a record setting pace, now scheduled to score 672 blowing passed Johnny & Wayne 574. Also in the Scoring Hall of Fame (for the first time this season) is Johnny who made it into the Hall on the final play of the week when Baltimore were stopped on the Patriot 1 yard line as time expired.
Injuries
Daz has replaced Chicago RB Cedric Benson who was placed on IR last week with Benson’s backup, Adrian Peterson who will start playing for Daz immediately, starting for him tomorrow evening (Thursday) when Chicago travel to Washington.
